Im using Windows 98, and for the past couple of weeks, it
has been freezing up constantly.... to the point of
ridiculous!!.... The only way to get out of it, is to re-
boot, and sometimes, even then, it freezes on the opening
Windows screen, and you have to reboot again. I even
freezes up while the Screen Saver is going...
I have removed any kind of Junk I could find, I have run
Scan-disks, Clean-ups, and Defrags.... Deleted programs,
games, etc, ....
I just cant figure out why its doing this every few
minutes... I will be lucky to get this letter out before
it freezes up again..
Thanks

Seemingly random freeze-ups are usually a hardware problem, most often a bad
power supply, bad memory modules (RAM), or a dirty or failed cooling fan
somewhere in the system.
