Open an MS-DOS Prompt window and enter the following command:
FDISK /STATUS
Post the results back here. That will tell us what is going on with
your hard drive.
There are at least a couple of possibilities:
1. The BIOS setup parameters used for the drive are incorrect,
resulting in the full capacity not being recognized.
2. The full capacity of the drive was not allocated to drive C: and
there is unused space available on the drive which can be used to
create another partition or (with appropriate third party software) to
increase the size of drive C:
