When you reinstalled windows you did not enable large drive support(fat32), so
2gb(fat16 maximum) is all you got, however the rest is recoverable using fdisk
to create a logical drive in the unallocated space, consider also converting
the c: drive to fat32 which will release some slack space on the drive, do not
use fdisk to change the existing c: partition as you will lose any information
on the c: partition that you have not backed up, you could consider
reinstalling with large drive support.

Hi Phill,

Large disk support was not selected when the disk was partitioned
using Fdisk.

Here's a work around to resize the partition without loosing data.

Use the built-in utility to convert from Fat16 to Fat32.

Resize the partition to it's full size using Bootit NG.

Start BING and click on Maintenance.
Click on Partition Work
Select the partition to resize
Click Resize then OK ("Checking for errors" will appear)
Click Resize and choose the new size
A Warning to back-up all important data will be displayed
Click Continue
When completed, click Close and Close again
Reboot and that should do it.

A full featured 30 day free trial of BING can be downloaded at
