My hardware: 1 XP box, 1 98 box.
XP box: Ethernet port on mobo, with cable, going to -
98 box: PCI ethernet card, with cable, coming from the XP box above.
On the XP box, I just want to be able to "see" the 98 box. Then copy
a few files across. That is, from XP to 98.
I am a thicko. I don't know what to do next.
Any help very gratefully received.

PS - all network related hardware appears to have its drivers
successfully installed.
