Hi:
We have a win98, and we have been trying to clean up the hard drive for
quite awhile. Started a defrag., forze told us to go use the scandisk,
froze. Went to safe mode, scandisk worked. found errors tried to repair.
Did not work, ever since everything tried, uninstall Norton, moving files
with the hard drive, etc, upon re-start/re-boot, all are restored to
condition prior to re-boot. We think the auto-scan of the reg is finding
something and restoring a autoback-up'd reg. Nothing we have tried has seem
to work, any help would be greatly appreciated
