unable to save document in a new CD-RW Disk

Hello Hero's
please i have bought a new CD-RW disk (650MB/74MIN) and i
want o save some documents in please what can i do to save
the documens in it.

This is the message i'm getting that "the device is not
ready!

A cdr cdrw is just a piece of plastic, you cannot "save" to it like a large
floppy disk.
CDs have to be recorded/burned by special software, either by a stand alone
burner program, or by an installed plugin that allows windows drag n drop to
operate with the cd. You have to have hardware that can write to cd, cdrom
drives cannot, they are cdReadOnlyMemory. If you have a cdrw drive you must
use the burning software that was installed with it, or you must install one
of the many software programs available.
