Hi,

I have a 750 Meg HDD which I would like to install in an old Compaq 386
PC with Dos 6.22. The 386 BIOS only "sees" 520M. If I put the HDD in one of
my newer PCs, using a Dos 6.22 boot floppy disk (with Fdisk & Format),
partition it into two logical drives, C: with about 520M, and D: with the
remainder, if I install that HDD in the 386, will I have any trouble
accessing both logical drives?

Thanks in advance, Brad

Before you type your password, credit card number, etc.,
be sure there is no active key logger (spyware) in your PC.

if the bios does not "see" the additional space...
dos won't either...so you may want to use drive overlay software such as
ezbios

in the unlikely event that you will be using win95 on that 386...
windows *can* see partitions unrecognized by the bios
