can no longer access my D-Drive. The message "D:\is not
accessible" and "The device is not ready" appear. Hard
disc controllers and CD-Rom set up is OK in control panel.
I also get the message during start up "The following is
missing or corrupted c:\windows|command\EBD\oakcdrom.sys"
and "there is an error on your config.sysfile on line 8".
I have verified that oakcdrom sys is installed.
Any suggestions? Help!!

I have the same problem after I removed the battery from
the motherboard. I haven't tried it yet but I got this
info online:
Restart in safe
settings, control panel, system, Device Mamager, CD-
Rom,Delete all items in Cd-Rom, Close, control Panel,
Remove cd or cd creator, Restart. Good luck
