I have a problem when closing folders Windows Explorer.
Invariably, Explorer has the iritating habit of
immediately and spontaneously re-expanding the folder and
sub folder structure that I have just closed. On closing
for the second time the folders usually remain closed.
Any suggestions?

I believe that was a bug introduced in IE6 (but it may have been an earlier
version). No fix other than reverting back to a version of IE that doesn't
cause the problem.

I'm using I.E. 5.5 over 98 1st edition and I've the same problem.
If you select the folder right to the "-" before clicking the "-",
Explorer does not re-expand the structure.

Hope this help.
