I noticed that the Opera general newsgroup web site is not currently
available. Is Google sites down again. It certainly is turning into a
cloudy day from the blue skies and the current outlook is not that great.
Please stay tuned for future updates. If you say huh to all this then never
mind because I like to mess with people's heads and cause confusion
sometimes. <grin and it is my way of keeping it all a game>

BTW, et. all, is this notice in regards to all the annoying software bugs
floating around or just cloud computing failing again?

Hi Dan!

The link you posted *did* work for me ......... but took me to posts dated 2005! Very mysterious!

However, here is a link to recent messages:

Addendum:

I came across this facility a while back

It might be useful to you if you ever wish to check if a particular web site is working.

As that is a newsgroup that site may not be able to check the headers
properly.

"In solving a problem of this sort, the grand thing is to be able to reason
backwards. That is a very useful accomplishment, and a
very easy one, but people do not practise it much. In the every-day affairs
of life it is more useful to reason forwards, and so
the other comes to be neglected. There are fifty who can reason
synthetically for one who can reason analytically." - Sherlock

Not at all. Google Groups maintains an archive of all newsgroup
postings going back to 1981. I was just pointing you to an old post of
mine.
