Upgrade for Office 2003?

I am a noveice with software. I have W 1998 and have
bought Office 2003, but it wont install as I dont have
Windows 2000 or WindowsXP. How doo I upgrade the operating
system and which version should I choose?

Rather than upgrading your operating system to match your applications you
would be better off buying applications that are compatible with your
operating system. Both these upgrades should be available through any
decent computer software store, although W2K might be getting a bit hard to
find. They are both available on E-Bay or through the on-line computer
software stores. You should check very carefully that your hardware is
suitable for these upgrades, as they can both be very fussy about the
devices they will or won't work with. If you want the latest and greatest,
then go for XP. If you want the smallest change from W98, then go for W2K.
