Playing Chess on Yahoo

There are four reasons the computer gave me for not being
able to play chess:

1. Location behind a firewall
2. Not connected to the internet
3. Games server is down
4. Stale page in your cache

How can reasons 3 and 4 be corrected? Any help given would
be greatly appreciated!
