windows 98 install - disk check

Please help...I am trying to do a clean install of windows
98. The disk boots up and the installation gets stuck on
checking the disk and the install stops.

For information on installing W98, go to:

When you type the setup.exe command, use the /is switch which will bypass
scandisk: setup.exe /is
