View Full Version : .NET Framework problems

When I try to install .NET Framework, the installation
fails. First I get a message that there is a problem with
C:\windows\microsoft.net\framework\v1.03705\mscord bi.dll.
Then, after I click ignore, the installation fails.

Once, a while back, I had Framework installed, and it
worked well for a while. Later, I began to have problems
with the program I was using that relied on Framework. I
uninstalled the program and Framework, but I was never
able to clear my system of Framework. I keep getting
messages that ask for a location for the program.

Also, I keep getting instruction to install the Framework
service pack 2, which I don't need because I don't have
Framework any longer.

How do I clear my system of Framework?

The only way I've ever known to get rid of it completely is to backup >
format > re-install

Now I make a point of avoiding anything that requires it ;o)
