View Full Version : Win 98 Boots to Welcome login then locks up

May 26th 04, 07:48 PM
I downloaded a digital camera driver and rebooted to
activate. The computer will not fully boot. It displays
the Welcome to Windows login box. If enter proper ID and
password it appears to start to continue exhibits a quick
flash of the Start tool bar and goes to a plain
background screen adn is locked up. Same if SafeMode
boot, same if try to boot different user.

Tried scanreg/restore to earlier date and have same
result. How do I get a complete boot? How do I get files
and email saves off machine?
