I no enuf 2 b dangerous. my computer was off, upon it
coming back on, all my icons (like msft word, aol icon, mu
computer icon, the trash bin, etc)came back up, but they
have shrank by at least 25%, and everyone of them has a 2
inch frame like a border. I have tried to maximize them
in all sorts of ways, but to no avail. Addt'ly, the start
tool bar has moved from the bottom of my screen to the
top. Please, I implore u, I nd ure help. Chanel

You would make it a lot easier to get help if you didn't use the "cute"
spelling we have to figure out.

Left click the clock and run the cursor to the bottom of the screen and
release the key.

I don't recognize the problem with the icons but maybe someone else can
help. If you don't get a fix, it's possible the problem might be resolved
by restoring a copy of the registry:

If this problem is less than five days old, restore a copy of the registry
that predates the onset of the problem and see if that helps. The five-day
limit assumes that the computer is booted every day. If it is not booted
every day, you may have an old enough registry backup that you can use even
though more than five days have elapsed. Any registry changes made after
the date of the restored registry will be lost.

On the Start Menu, select Shut Down and Restart in MSDOS Mode. At the
Windows prompt, type: scanreg /restore and hit enter. Once the
registry restore screen appears, select the date of the registry that you
wish to restore by highlighting it and then click enter. If you see a
registry named: Rbbad.cab, that is a copy of the registry that has already
been replaced.
