Hi Rick,

If Kazaa is installed, go to Add/remove programs in control panel
and uninstall it.

Then run Ad-aware.
Ad-aware is a free multi spyware removal utility that scans
your memory, registry and hard drives for known spyware
components and lets you remove them safely. After installing
Ad-Aware make sure to run the update feature before scanning.
http://www.lavasoftusa.com/ For large amounts of installed
spyware and such, it may be necessary to run Ad-Aware several
times to clear them all.

Long shot.

Hi Bert,
Just curious--what pointed you towards malware?
TIA,
Curt

Hi Curt,

I did a Google search on "Unhandled Exception" and found
the solutions I posted. The error was more common than I
first thought.

Thanks Bert,
Google is where I always head first. In this case you got there first, but
I didn't expect the results to come back malware.
Course, nothing should surprise me when it comes to malware anymore. :-((
Learned something new today!
Curt

You're welcome Curt.

I hadn't seen the error message before and was a bit
surprised on the result also.
