First time here, So how does this work?
My home computer crashes after booting, I have win'98 but
I dont have a server for the internet at home, and I need
help.

You need to provide full details. What exactly is the computer doing when
the crash occurs? Is it always the same? Are there error messages and, if
so, what are they exactly.
