Every time I try to click (right or left ) on the icon the
computer freezes. So I can't empty it even though it is
full. Can any one help.

If your computer is a reasonably low specification, and
the recycling bin is full, trying to click (right or
left) on it may make the computer appear to have frozen.
Leave it for a while (it may take up to an hour) to see
if the computer is just busy.

Sometimes, if the computer is busy, it is normal for the
mouse and keyboard to stop functioning.

Thanks Dave, I tried it for nearly 2 hours but nothing
happened. Main problem is that its my computer at work and
i thought i could do this before i needed it. I might try
and leave it on after work and go back after a few more
hours have past.

Have you tried exiting to DOS and:

DELTREE C:\Recycled

Choose yes, it will be regenerated, or do this to make it automated:

DELTREE /Y C:\Recycled
