I am trying to install a Linksys 802.11g wireless notebook
adapter. It is supposed to be compatible with 98SE.
During installation, it askes me to put the 98SE cd-rom in
the cd-rom drive. I do that but then it "can not find" the
drivers on the cd-rom.

Hit the browse button and make sure the system is looking in the right place
for the .cab files.

Is it looking for a specific file? Sometimes these installation utilities
tell you to look in the Windows CD when they really mean the CD supplied by
the manufacturer, or the hard drive folder where the installation files have
been copied. If the file name is listed then you can search the CDs and the
hard drive for the location of the file so that you can browse to the
correct folder.
