add/remove programs

Hope someone can help me out here.There appears to be a
program running in the background of my machine.Every
10mins or so it executes(dl.exe and dlm.exe) and tries to
connect me to a particular webpage.It has also set its
self as my homepage.When i try to access add/remove
programs or even internet options,the window flashes on
screen for a few secs,and disappears!!I have also tried to
delete dl.exe and dlm.exe from dos. but it does not allow
me access.Can anyone tell me how to remove these programs
which are causing me a great deal of problems.Thanks

You tried booting to DOS, not just a DOS window? Try removing the
attributes, either via DOS or Winfile. You may also need to remove the
entries in the Registry.

Do you have anything like a download manager, if so that may be part of it.
Some web searches come up as a spybot/tracker. Id search the registry for
DLM.exe and make note of what type of values it shows, look in HKLM or use
Search/Find

Use an up to date virus scanner to remove those trojans.
