I have removed some program from my computer using add/remove programs, but
when I look thru the list again the program name is still there. When I try
and remove again it says that the file cannot be found and it will ask me do
I want to remove it from the list for some of the items. Other items I
cannot remove. any help would be appreciated.

You have several options.

1. Leave it alone and ignore it.
If the program has been uninstalled, then it has probably only left a
Registry entry. If you don't try and use it, it will do no harm.

2. Remove the Registry entry.
You will find it with Regedit under this key:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\Curr entVersion\Uninstall

3. Use TweakUI to remove the entry.
Tweak UI 1.33 for Windows 2000, Windows NT, Windows Millennium
Edition, Windows 98 or Windows 95.
