I have downloaded Media Player 9 and 7 for 98se and when I
try to install the app. I get the message "The " package
you are trying to install is not applicable with your
version of Windows." I checkd my sys info and it says "98
Second Edition Version (4.10.2222) A. Can someone tell me
what vers. do I really have so I may install the correct
updates and so on. Thank You. Ray

If it says SE, that's what you have unless someone has tinkered with your
registry. Something else must be causing the problem and the folks most
likely to know something about it can be found in
microsoft.public.windowsmedia.player

Hello from France!

I am also using 98 SE version 4.10.2222 A, and I am using Windows Media
