Volume control icon on task bar 'vanished' last week. So I
cannot raise or lower volume using vol. controls from task
bar. When playing a CD, volume's ok but cannot adjust it.
Please help and email me . THANK YOU

tick. Tick means a lot of things but tic only refers to: n. A
habitual spasmodic muscular movement or contraction, usually of the
face or extremities.

intr.v. ticced, tic·cing, tics To have a tic; produce tics.

I think you'd better read the newsgroup. I see a lot of people who
say they won't email, and that if people can use the ng to post their
questions they should be willing to read the ng to get free advice. I
see a lot of others who don't say that, but still seem not to email
anyone.

Including just the meaning you used it with. So no need to put it in
quotes. You used it just right.
