Can't open jpeg

For some reason I all of a sudden can't open any jpeg
file. I can see the picture in preview, but the file will
not open. I assume that some file has become corrupt, but
I don't know what file to look for.

In preview in what program?

What program do you have associated with .jpeg files?

Even Microsoft makes more than one program and not everyone who reads
this list or ask questions here uses MS programs other than the OS.

I wish the readers of this and other groups would remember that.


Have you found the file using Commander or Salamander or PowerDesk or
even MS Explorer and double clicked on the file directly instead of
going through some other program?
