CD Player Stuck in Task Bar

If I minimize CD Player while a CD is playing, it gets stuck
in the task bar and the only way I can get it out of there
is kill it from Task Manager. Also, auto-play only works
"sometimes". Auto Insert is enabled. Anyone know of fixes
for CD Player. The is the default CD player in Windows 98.

Please only post fixes for the default CD player, I am not
looking for an alternate application.
