how to find sound card?

How can I find out what kind of PCI Media device I have?
I have the device in my computer, but it says nothing on
it, like a brand name. I looked in the device manager,
all it have is a "?". I updated the driver, but could not
find anything. I also don't have the software so I need to
download the driver info.

SiSoft Sandra may be able to help. Find it with Google.com
If you haven't popped the hood on the PC, you may have a sound chip on the
motherboard vice an actual sound card.
