I cannot get the sound recorder to record anything. I can
hear my own voice via the headphones that my microphone is
attached to, but no sound can be recorded. I notice that
the recorder section is greyed out and so I cannot access
it. This is obviously the problem, but what to do about
it? I had a "friend" (EX-friend!) install some stuff for
me, including the latest free version of Real Player and
I'm wondering whether this has anything to do with it. In
desperation I tried re-installing the OS (there were other
problems I was trying to cure as well), but this made no
difference at all.
Any ideas people?
