Problem with sound

I reciently had to replace the motherboard in a computer and after
reinstalling all the drivers, i noticed that the sound was not working. The
drivers are loaded properly, no special details under the device manager
saying that there is a problem, but when I go into the Multimedia control
pannel applet it states that there is "No Playback Device" Reloading drivers
doesn't help, nor does changing the sound card.

Anyone have any ideas?
