What was done to the computer just prior to your getting this message at startup?
Is there more to the message than that one phrase?

Have a look here for one possible cause, and resolution:
Sound Blaster Live! Error Message After Installing Windows

What virus was identified, by what anti-virus app, and exactly how did you get rid
of it....following what procedure?

Please post the contents of your C:\autoexec.bat and C:\config.sys files. They can
be opened with Notepad, and you can copy/paste the contents into a reply to this
post.

Also look in C:\ for any backed-up copies of those files. They will have the names
autoexec and config, but the extensions after the dot may be .bak, .syd, .tsh, .000,
or just about any three-character extension. They too can be opened with Notepad.
If you find any that have differing contents than the .bat and .sys files, include
their contents also, at the end of your reply.
