View Full Version : Lexmark X5100 Series All-In-One Program Problem

March 18th 06, 09:59 AM
I've had the Lexmark X5100 Series printer for quite a while now, and
everything is fine EXCEPT...for the All-In-One program.

Everytime I try to use it, it displays that "searching for scanning
applications" box, but the program stops there. It never ever gets past
that box, so I can never use that program. Which means I can't make use
of the scanner to computer functions and other things...

which really sucks. :(

I've tried updating the driver, doesn't work. I tried uninstalling the
whole thing and reinstalling it but it still does not work. However, I
did not dislocate the printer while I tried that.

Any help provided, thanks in advance (I'm never gonna buy another
Lexmark printer...ever). :D

If you are uninstalling, you MUST disconnect the printer before doing so.
