Well,, I went to the site and printed off the instructions
and I still don't get it.
clicked start then run type sfc press enter
click extract one file from the installation disk
ok here is where I am lost
specify the system file you would like to restore box, do
I type the file name or type drive:\windows\path\file and
if I am to type the file name what is the file name etc.
that I need to put in that box and if I get it there I
click start browse to the restore from and locate the
windows installation files, well I couldn't find them on
the hard disk in the C:Cab folder, there is a lot of cab
folders. I saw nothing by default, in the OEM version
(didn't see anything OEM)
I put the cd on the drive and that didn't help me. Boy am
I lost and dumb I guess. It is very hard for me to follow
written instructions. I like pictures......
