I am attempting to install a Netgear Wireless adapter
WG121 running Windows 98SE.
The cd-rom reads, I install the "wizard and software". I
plug in the adapter, windows says it found new hardware
and is going to load the driver. It starts and then I
get an error message:

KEBUGCHECKEX: called by C002ab37
Error code is 44
Parameters: C159f700 0 0
System halted

Does anyone know what this means, and what do I do to get
the drivers installed?
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks.

Did you install the driver from the CD-ROM before plugging in the
network adapter? That's usually the right order.

Does the computer have more than one USB jack? If so, try a different
one.
