Respected Sir/Madam,
I am Rajesh Khadka from Nepal. I am very much thankful for
your great supports and your help. Many times I asked the
questions and you give me my questions answers. On the
bottom of my heart I really thank you and in future I hope
you will be continuing your supports and your helps.
Today my problems is, I have make ONE MAINSERVER which
WINDOWS 2000 ADVANCED SERVER and 5-6 computer is WINDOWS
98'. In WINDOWS 2000 ADVANCED SERVER I have create users
to enter the WINDOWS 98'. What I am going to do that in
WINDOWS 98' while we are going to enter the computer, in
that time computer ask me YOUR USERNAME, PASSWORD, AND
DOMAIN NAME. I give my YOUR USERNAME, PASSWORD, AND DOMAIN
NAME and computer also gives me to enter the computer and
I do my works.
But Sir/Madam, I need in WINDOWS 98' without PASSWORD no
body can enter my computer. If any person who want to
enter my computer their must be type PASSWORD compulsory.
But in WINDOWS 98' if we press ESC or CANCEL while
computer asking YOUR USERNAME, PASSWORD, AND DOMAIN NAME
easily any body enter the computer.
Please Sir/Madam, would you guide me what is the solution
of this problem. User must enter PASSWORD. If they don't
know PASSWORD than they cannot do any thing in my computer
or they cannot enter my computer.
Dear Sir/Madam, what should I do to solve this type of
problem.

I have also tried to this thing, but I cannot do what I
want.
1. Start in Safe Mode
2. Than go to Regedit
3. Again go to
HKEY_USER/Default/Software/Microsoft/Windows/CurrentVersion
/Run
4. Create one New String Value
5. Give the name of New String Value "Fix Logon"
6. Double click to New String Value and give the Value Data
7. Rundll.exe user.exe, Exit WINDOWS
8. Close the Regedit
9. Restart Computer.

But I cannot do what I am wanted to do.
Please Sir/Madam, guide me.

Thank you,
Yours truly,
Khadka Rajesh, Er.

You need to get ahold of Poledit for win98 and adjust each PC's system
policy so that unauthenticated logins are not possible.
