View Full Version : Network logon

I connect to a Windows 98 peer-to-peer network everyday and was wondering if
there was any way to have Windows finish loading with out having to hit the
enter key at the "Enter Network Password" dialog box when I boot up. I do
not use a password. I think it would be pretty neat if there was some kind
of a batch file that would do that for me.

Hi Wayne,
Install Tweakui. Go to the Logon Tab and set it there.
Windows Update: Tweak UI 1.33 : [Microsoft, Win9x]:

Go to Control Panel | Network and set the primary network logon to
Windows Logon. Reboot, and log on with a user name and no password.
It won't ask for a logon again.
All peer-to-peer network functions are available using Windows Logon.
