I am connecting a win98se client to a windows NT domain
on our win2k server. I can get it to see the rest of the
network ok, but it does not seem to be logging onto the
domain correctly and will not allow internet access. I
have it looking at the servers ip address of DNS and the
server is configured with forwarding to our ISP's DNS
servers. I have configured winXP clients in this way, but
it does not seem to be working with windows 98.

Is the default gateway address correctly set?

What should it be set to?

I have it pointing to the ADSL modem.

Maybe I should back up one step. How are you getting your IP addresses?
DHCP server, router, manually assigned ... or what?
