Is there an add-on utility that allows a secure logon to Windows 98-SE
Thanks, CMA

None that I know of. The best is to set a BIOS password or use a third party app.
Since 98 wasn't built to be a secure system, even those can be circumvented.
My standard blurb:
Although there are different ways to accomplish this, there is always a possibility
that someone with some computer savvy can bypass them. One way is to set a password
in the bios if the option is available, another is one suggested by MVP George
"Bindar Dundat"( now AWOL):

MVP Doug Knox has a way on his site:

Click on Security > Prevent Unauthorized Users from accessing your computer. Read the
instructions fully, it is possible to lock yourself out of your own computer.

Jack of all trades, Master of none.
One can never truly be a master as there is always more to learn.
