Hi,
I have a problem with a Windows 98 PC.
I can access to Internet if i write http://www.yahoo.com
but if i write http://216.109.118.79/ i have no problem.
How to launch service to translate this IP adress in a DNS adress
Tks

Point to a valid DNS server
in command prompt "ipconfig -all" and tell us what DNS server you are using.

Search your computer for a hidden file called HOSTS. Rename to HOSTS.OLD and
test.
Also, open a DOS window and run the following command:
ipconfig /flushdns
