I have a old computer with a serial mouse port. Recently
my serial mouse broke and alls i had were ps/2 mice in the
house. so i went to bestbuy and bought an adpater to go
from serial to ps/2. I plugged in my mouse and everything
was set and turned on my computer. It came up no mouse
detected. I tried everything add new hardware wizard, went
into my bios settings. Any suggestions on what to do thanks

Not all mice will work with such an adapter. You'll need to get one that
has the adapter packaged with the mouse, or get a serial mouse.
