I started having printing problems on Monday.
I found the computer had all kinds of viruses, due to a
virus that closed down my Anti-Virus software. As a
result I had all kinds of problems, including unable to
print. Since I had loaded different software and cleaned
up my computer.
But still my computer is unable to print. It says I have
chosen no default printer, but when i look i have indeed
chosen it. It doesn't matter what software I run, the
problem persists. When it asks do i want to fix the
problem it appears whatever the virus was it wiped out my
print help menu from Windows.
When i remove all print drivers and reload, it makes no
difference. Even when I wipe out LPT-1 and have it
reintstalle it made no difference.
Has anyone come across this at all.
Thankyou for your assistance,
Brian P.

Go to the printer's manufacturer's web site and look around for an updated driver.
