Have a small network, four PCs. XP on the one with the
shared printer, its a Lexmark printer, a Z53. Windows98
workstations cannot print to it - whenever you try to
print, the print monitor software on the Windows98 system
comes up, says it cannot connect to the printer and never
sends the job. I've uninstalled and reinstalled the
printer twice, it makes no difference. Can print to it
locally but not from any of the workstations. I've never
seen this before, and can find no solutions on the
Lexmark website that help. Any ideas? Email me please at
. Thanks!

Somewhere on the Lexmark site this issue is addressed. The Microsoft Knowledge base
has an article about it but the Lexmark link is no longer available. Look around on
the Lexmark web site, I'm sure there is a solution lurking there.
