Installing Printer

My Daughter was given a Dell A960 Printer, for her
birthday. I can't install printer. She has a Hewlett
Packard Pavilian 4540, with Windows 98. The only thing
Dell would tell me is it recommends Windows XP. Does
anyone know if there is a patch that can be downloaded,
so printer can be installed.

No, sorry. Dell specifies that this printer can ONLY be run on Windows 2000
or Windows XP systems. No Windows95, 98, 98se or ME.

Now if you're a really nice Dad, you could think of giving her a Windows XP
upgrade... or if her PC is getting a bit long in the tooth and really
doesn't meet or exceed the XP requirements, perhaps a new PC... early
Christmas present?
