Please tell me how to make a W98 computer recognize a USB 4-port hub. I have
tried two, from different manufacturers, with no success. Upon initial
plug-in the computer sees an installation process. With the 1st device it
asked for a W98 CD -- which I don't have (second hand purchase). I do have 2
recovery CD's and 2 Office 2000 CD's provided with the purchase which I,
previously, used successfully to restore operation after a crash; none of
these satisfied the request for the W98 CD. When I tried the 2nd device, the
Add New Hardware Wizard could not find a driver. The MS download website says
there are no updates or servicepaks available to install (they were done
earlier). The Hub manufacturers websites don't provide drivers or
information.

Can you help me or suggest another source? Thanks.
