shaking screens

the screens shake all the time - not sure if related but
since installing a firewall. Not sure how to resolve

When you say shaking i assume you mean vibrate or look blurry? @ things to check would be to see if the monitor is sitting next to a power supply, this can cause that affect sometimes. Also there should be a degaussing button on your monitor, try using that.
