I'm losing it! I could've sworn there is a shortcut key
combination to activate the screen saver in '98 (as
opposed to waiting for a timed activation) ... am I
nuts? I've looked just about everwhere and cannot seem
to find this info ... help!

I think what you are referring to is a hardware feature--it might have been
called hot corners or some such description. You can make a shortcut on the
desktop to the screensaver you are using and just double click it when you
want to activate the screensaver.

Wonderful! Stupid question #2 ... where are the screen
saver files ... what extension should I look for?
