Erratic cursor

Hello! Computer has suddenly become slooooooow, in opening
all applications and pages. Cursor is erratic in movement,
with Windows flag-icon jumping in and out. Norton/Symantec
Anti-Virus and Utilities installed just before. Any
connection? Any cures? Thanks! Bill.

A few weeks ago, I had an erratic cursor that jumping all
over the screen. Windows were opening and closing like
crazy. The problem turned out to be a loose mouse cable.
