I think only if you're wulling to start all over again, with a clean install
of XP.

Yes. Software like 'Partition Magic' can do it for you.

However, W98 and WXP cannot coexist on the same partition.

Conversions from NTFS to FAT32 are unreliable at best. The only
utility that I know of that has this capability is Partition Magic and
I have never heard of anyone actually successfully doing this
conversion.

If you are planning on installing multiple operating systems do not
repeat do not repeat DO NOT install two operating system in the same
partition. Doing so is suicidal.

Use partitioning software (e.g. Partition Magic) to reduce the size of
your existing NTFS partition and then create a new FAT32 partition in
the freed up space. That way the operating system files will be kept
separate, reducing the chances of one operating system being
contaminated (and probably rendered unusable) by files from a
different version of Windows.

Good luck

On top of the others, if 98 is installed after XP be prepared for extra duty on
repairing the boot loader. As well and I'm not truly sure, if your system boot
partition (c:) is NTFS, 98 won't boot.
