Hi,
I've just bought a new laptop and was burning some files to CD from my
Windows ME tower PC, when it crashed.
I powered it off (not via the Start menu - as the PC had locked). Now, when
I power up, the monitor shows the makers logo, but goes into a 'suspend'
mode as Windows loads.
I know Windows has loaded because the Start Windows sound plays, and I know
that there is power still going to the monitor because the power LED is on,
although it flashes, it is not steady.
Is Windows 'switching off' the signal to the monitor as it loads? If so, how
can I get it to stop!

TIA,
Del
