I've installed DSL on a computer that's running on W98, I get a fatal error
because it won't pull IP Addresses. I've attempted to reinstall the OS, but
that doesn't work. I get a message saying that the files are already on the
copmuter. What do I do to make it Ping and pull the addresses?

Have you tried going into Control panel- network, and then clicking on the
NIC 10/100 TCP and removing? Then restart the computer. It will reintsall
right off the bat. If problems continue, try going to Start-Run, and type in
command, then ipconfig /release, and then ipconfig /renew.

Without details of the error messages, all that anybody can do is give an
address.
