Hello group,

while working on a friends computer the following message appears during
startup "There is a problem with your display setting. The adapter type is
incorrect or the current settings do not work with your hardware". Is a
Compaq presario 82H using a Compaq MV400 monitor. I should point out that
when I was working on it I had it connected to a Samtron 76DF. Any help is
most appreciated.

You can get the correct video drivers at the Compaq website.

thanks got the drivers, installed them and everything seems fine now .
